Kimberly’s depth of experience has led to an intuition that surfaces during her stretch sessions allowing her to hone in on the body’s often counter-intuitive pain referral patterns...the “stretch whisperer”. -MJS
"I was referred to Kimberly for an ongoing shoulder issue by a friend. The issue left me in constant pain, and I had completed physical therapy with no relief. Kimberly listened to my issue from the start and unlike the doctor that did the shoulder surgery, she did not tell me, "It is fine and nothing is wrong." As my shoulder improved, Kimberly began to help me with another issue. I had to have a total hip replacement at the age of 45. It left me without the ability to run, even after many attempts and advisement from the surgeon not to. Gradually I improved as she helped with stretch. My joint. the pain, and ability to move in a run motion began to improve. I was able to complete a half iron! It was not soon after that the decision was made to join friends in the first Texas Ironman. I consulted with Kimberly knowing she was a key factor to my recent success She understood my reoccurring issues in my hip and devised a plan to target the area for the up and coming challenges. I began Pilates weekly with her, and I know today it was key in my success! I felt the retraining of my muscles and my legs. In this last yer, I completed my first sub 13 Ironman, and I am happy to say I was able to maintain a run. I know that was largely due to Kimberly and her diligence with rehabbing my legs and hip."
Mike is an excellent trainer, and he has great skills and instincts as a stretch and physical therapist. Workouts are rigorous and effective, subject to the client’s physical limitations and desires. If a client is injured or has some other physical “issues,” Mike designs a workout / stretch regimen which addresses the impacted area(s). He works very efficiently—“down” times between exercises or sets are spent stretching. I highly recommend Mike as a personal trainer. -T.B.
Mike is focused on helping me to achieve my goals and he makes every workout both challenging and fun. Prior to training with Mike, I went to a gym with lots of high-tech machines. Mike’s workouts are low-tech using dumbbell weights and springs, and he tailors each exercise to my body’s needs. Using Mike’s approach to fitness, my strength training has progressed much faster and my overall strength, muscle definition and posture have improved noticeably. I am thankful to workout each week with Mike Renger. -S.B.
"The stretching is a great way to find out where you have issues. While the stretching is worthwhile, the identification of weaknesses and the Kimberly’s suggested strengthening exercises have significantly improved my core strength, posture and mobility."

"I have been receiving Stretch Therapy for about 2 years now and would recommend to anyone who has suffered with chronic pain. I had back surgery 9 year ago for a ruptured disc at L5, S1. The surgery was uneventful but as time went on (and I got older )and I continued with my active sports schedule, I started to have chronic pain, inflammation and immobility of certain joints. My stretch sessions help alleviate all the above. It is not a cure but I feel better and I do not need to take any medication. I have also experienced the Rain Drop Therapy, the overwhelming sense of calm and balance you feel is amazing!"

"Kimberly helped me train for the MS 150. I would get 'stretched' the day before a big training ride to help align my body. I felt much stronger this year than I did the year before because I was able to focus my strength and energy on maximizing my effort. Without stretch from Kimberly, I would be focused on my soreness. tight IT band or aching knee. She also helped realign my hip from carrying heavy babies on one side for over 5 years. Years of chiropractic adjustments that never 'stuck' were fixed within a few sessions of stretch therapy with Kimberly."

"I look forward to my Stretch Therapy with Kimberly every other week. My body always feels good when she finishes stretching me. I have become addicted to the feeling and it has become part of my body maintenance program."

"I started with Kim at her last Essential Oils Seminar. I thought the oils might help my husband with his 15-year history of back problems and prescription drugs. After talking with some of her clients at my table, I decided my husband might also benefit from her fascial stretch therapy. Then, I started sessions with Kimberly for some of my very long lasting problems that my doctor said
was just aging and I had to learn to live with them. We have found Kimberly to be incredibly knowledgeable about the essential oils and their uses. She also knows about muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, and fascia tissues and how they work together. She shares the information with her clients so together they can explore the path to healing and wellness."
"Even Santa needs a little help with painful joints and a lack of flexibility. After years of pills and constant pain, I have let Kimberly at Essential Balance use her extensive knowledge of the body to improve mobility naturally. With a combination of stretching, exercises, and natural oils, she has decreased pain and increased ease of movement with less medication required. She treats her clients individually with warmth and caring in a professional manner."

I can't say enough good things about my experiences with Essential Balance. Been involved with Kimberly for over two years now and its hard to imagine how I ever made it without her. She's truly gifted at what she does and I always leave feeling great. Even little problems that I feel I am never going to be able to explain she seems to find and fix. I run two businesses in town and being on my feet and feeling sharp is imperative to my work. A good investment for my life is putting it mildly. Its an important part of it now and will remain so in the future. -B.Doke
